Sambar Vada-Authentic South Indian snacks

Sambar VadaSambar vada is a famous south indian snack item served in hotels. Generally it is not made at house. It is a simple assembly of medhu vada and tiffin sambar. Ingredients
  • 6 Nos Medhu vada
  • 500 ml Sambar Tiffin sambar variety
  • 200 ml Water hot
  • 1 Tablespoon Onion Finely Chopped
  • 1 Tsp Coriander leaves Finely Chopped
Instructions
  1. Take 100ml of sambar and mix with hot water. Soak the vada in the diluted sambar till the time of serving
  2. At the time of serving take out the vada from the diluted sambar. Add Tiffin Sambar and garnish with Onion and Coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
a. Either the vada or the diluted sambar should be hot. If both are piping hot, vada would become soggy. b. Add hot water to dilute sambar to bring sambar to warm temperature. Adjust heat of water accordindly. c. Soaking in diluted sambar ensures that vada absorbes the spiciness.
